About Us

Here at Riverside Roost Farm, we’re bringing farm life back to the community. Our roadside stand offers the freshest eggs and baked bread, handmade goods, clean home and beauty items, seasonal produce, and farm grown, hand-picked flower bouquets. All straight from our field to your table. But our farm is more than a place to shop, it’s a place to learn, share, and connect.

From planting our gardens and tending to our animals, to preserving, harvesting and living sustainably, we will share our real-life lesson from our farm. Whether you’re just getting started, or a seasoned gardener, there will be something here to inspire you. We believe in keeping things simple, honest, and close to the land. Stop by our stand or visit us online and be a part of our growing farm community. We’re so glad you’re here!

My Approach

After a life changing medical diagnosis, my health became my top priority. Here is our farms timeline: My first garden expansion happened in 2019, then chickens were added in 2022. In 2023 I obtained my Master Gardener Certificate, added onto my garden again, and opened our first farmstand. In 2024 we branched into Farmer’s Markets & I canned for the first time. 2025 we built a larger farmstand market and added local vendors, rebranded the business, baked a lot of sourdough, won a blue ribbon for my dahlia flowers, and added more chickens. Now in 2026 we’ve established our website, tripled the garden area, and attended a dozen farmer markets. Every year we increase our outreach to the community buy offering our homemade, homegrown, farm items, and extending our donations a little further. The blog will continue to grow to teach you something new, or purely for enjoyment. This farm is as much for me, as it is for you!

This farm was created as an outlet for me on my hard cancer days. It brings me such joy and also comforts me to know I’m providing myself and family, along with the community, the healthiest options by growing and baking items from scratch.
